Words & Teaching

Where mindfulness, Buddhism, and story meet.

Writing is where all of my work comes together — presence, change, and what it means to be human.

The connective thread

One practice, told through story.

As a published writer and storyteller, I write about presence, change, and what it means to be human — drawing on my Buddhist teaching and years of working directly with people. I'm a frequent performer and have been a community storyteller for Beyond the Border and the National Eisteddfod, as well as touring my show, "Carrying Clecs." I also offer Dharma talks and teachings for those interested in a more traditional, contemplative path.

On the storytelling
"Imagine a hall or theatre where this compelling and smiling figure comes out and tells stories in which you hear your own story. And crucially, with these stories in our imaginations, we can travel into the future together. Our confidence and our wellbeing will be hugely enriched."
Dr Phil George, CBE — Former Head of Arts Council
